Believe it or not Adzuki is the fist dog I have ever kept of my breeding as a puppy. She is from my 8th litter of Belgians, and in the past had held onto dog with the help of some wonderful co-ownships. So I was quite excited to finally keep a puppy for myself! Isn't it ironic that in the end, she isn't my dog at all. She is Dean's, heart, soul, and all! I do not exist to her except to feed her. She looked at him and said, "Your mine!". She is a sassy girl with character galore. Just a real character, she is lots of fun to have. Her first weekend out she was WB both days for 4pts. The next weekend out she went BOB from the classes over 24 dogs for 5pts and got pulled for the Group. She was showy but was lacking that sparkle I saw when she was with Dean. I kept telling everyone what a wonderful flashy girl she was, but she was Dean's dog and he should show her. Her third weekend out on the Friday she went WB to finish her Championship. Then the next day Dean showed her..well she was bouncing in the air, leaping for joy, eye's sparkling with joy and showed her heart out!! She lost that day of the Specialty to her dam, Amy, but you could finally see her mother's showy attitude in her.

Adzuki, or Zuki-bean, as she is fondly know (Adzuki is a type of bean), is a fun girl who is always ready to play. She loves traveling, camping, sleeping on the couch, snuggling on the bed, and rough housing with Dean. She has the biggest grin and smiles all the time, even when in trouble! According to Dean, she doesn't do anything bad! She LOVES kids and is very attentive to our son, Ethan, and gets upset and comes and finds us even at the slighted noise of discontent. I know she can't wait for him to grow up so she can pal around with him. Merlin, our cat, loves Adzuki, and when the two are left in the house together, it's a really rowdy time. Merlin seeks her out only and pounces and the game is on. She loves it! Adzuki has also started basic agility and has been on sheep several times and is VERY keen, almost too much. Dean has been watching agility on Top Dogs and wants to get her started this summer. She has lots of drive and does everything with flare and excitement. Perhaps too much some times!

She is 24' at the shoulder and dead square. She has exceptional movement passed on by her dam, Amy. She has nice long head, but is heavy in backskull, lacking the elegant head which I prefer. She has a beautiful eye in shape, but is too light for me. She has complete dentition, deep scissors bite and excellent pigmentation. Her ear set and shape is exceptional. She has a long elegant neck, strong topline, short loin, and slightly sloping croup. Adzuki stands and moves true front and rear, converging toward the centre with excellent reach and drive. Adzuki is a very healthy bitch with no allergies or chronic health problems. She is not two yet, but shows great promise for the future. She is a light warm fawn, with light blackening.
