ABOUT US

 
 
Training with your dog should be a positive experience. One built on a trusting relationship, where you and your dog build a bond only found from a deep connection. Through education and understanding how a dog learns and our vast differences between them and us, the journey will be worth every step.

TRAINING

Nicole McIlwrick has been training dogs since 1988. She specializes in problem dogs and how to re-educate them. She has owned American Cocker Spaniels, a sheltie, multiple Alaskian Huskies, mixed breed dogs and currently shares her home with three Belgian Tervurens, Adzuki, Wrangler, and ZoomZoom, 2 cats and several horses. Her dogs and dog she has bred have had numerous titles and wins in conformation, obedience, rally obedience, flyball, agility, schzhund and herding. Nicole continues her education as a professional dog trainer by attending seminars and conferences regularly.
Her husband, Dean and their two sons, Ethan and Gavin live on an acerage just outside of Whitecourt.


OUR GROOMERS
Nicole has been grooming since the late 80's. Starting showing Am. Cocker, and later working with other breeds. I trained in Edmonton at Bower and Co. as well as traveling to homes of dog breeders to specialize in specific breeds. I also traveled around Europe grooming and showing dogs and attending numerous shows.
